Accessory Breathing
Breathing with the accessory muscles can be a life or death matter - it is something that quadriplegics and people with emphysema face every day. For the rest of us, though, overuse of accessory muscles can lead to chronic pain in our most familiar areas: the upper back, neck, and shoulders.
